The protests against the Peruvian president, Pedro Pablo Kuszynski due to the reprieve granted by him in favor to Alberto Fujimori continued.
During the last hours, there were more than 15.000 demonstrators who marched against the reprieve along the streets from the center of Lima city. They are led by the relatives of the killing carried out in Barrios Altos and La Calcuta, during Alberto Fujimori´s term.
Flor Huilca, who is the daughter of a union opponent leader against the regime and killed by Los Colina, stated sadly at front of the lawcourts:
“It is difficult to get justice in this nation and now Fujimori is not in jail. I am the victim, Pedro Huilca is the victim. Therefore, I do not understand the decision took by Kuczynski and Mercedes Aráoz.”
Meanwhile, the progress of the Odebrecht case intensify the Peruvian political crisis. The district attorney, Hamilton Castro, who is the chief of the special researching team for the Lava Jato case, questioned the president Pedro Pablo Kuszynski about his participation in the Westfield Capital and First Capital enterprises with headquarters in the United States which were hired by the Brazilian Odebrecht construction company for related consultancy from 2004 and 2013.

Pedro Pablo Kuszynski was the minister of Economics of Alejandro Toledo´s term from 2004 to 2005 and he was later the first ministry until July, 2016. The Odebrecht enterprise was granted the right to build the Interoceánica Sur road which was ended after the overvaluation and technical questions carried out by the local finance office.
In addition, the president of the local Fuerza Popular party, Keiko Fujimori, was then answering at a district´s attorney the laundering due to the allegedly sums that she got from Odebrecht company in the electoral campaign from 20111 and other funds that had allegedly been collected through raffles that same year and in 2016.
The list of payments was published by the members of parliaments two weeks ago and that led to the presidential removal from office. Kuczynski avoided it through the Congresswoman Kenji Fujimori´s votes and other nine members of parliaments who wanted the reprieve for the dictator, Alberto Fujimori that was sentenced to 25 years imprisonment for crime against humanity.
It was precisely this recently week when the judge, Richard Concepción Carhuancho, who was the one who order the arrest warrant against the former president, Alejandro Toledo in February and the preventive prison against the former head of state, Ollanta Humala and his wife Nadine Heredia that was left out of the Odebrecht case after a resolution for changes in the Judicial Power. That decision clears the path for a change about the judicial decisions about that case.
The Marches will continue

The marches are coordinated by the National Lucha Committee that is led by the Confereración General de Trabajadores (General Confederation of Workers) from Peru (CGTP), The Central Unitaria de Trabajadores (CUT), the Confederación Nacional Agraria ( Agrarian National Confederation) and dozens of social and student organizations.
Just in the capital city, it is expected the participation of students from more than 10 state and private universities, neighborhood groups, groups of professionals and women for a day when the demonstrator will also repudiate the political corruption.
According to Telesur TV network, there are more than 40 psychologists who talked against the reprieve to Fujimori.
“The decision that was taken by the government left that nation in a serious risk of social unrest.” The specialists sated through a statement broadcast on Saturday, along with the statement made by 300 writers and 150 historians.
The psychologists accused the head of state of having done what he did for his personal benefit and Fujimori´s one. They said that Peru will only have reconciliation when the historic truth, which had to be based on equity and justice, was known.
