Alberto Luberta Noy, who is a prestigious director and writer of programs for the Cuban radio and the creator of the local program entitled "Alegrías de Sobremesa" of the Radio Progreso station, was granted the commemorative medal for the 60th anniversary of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) by the Cuban State Council.

The medal was granted to him in recognition of all his merits rendered to the defense of the motherland, and as he revealed himself: it is not added to the long list of his merits as a beloved man of the radio by his people, it is a medal of great importance which represents a great honor due to his long life as a combatant.
"I always did what I had to do when it was necessary and without waiting anything in exchange. However, I have lived the privilege of receiving many honors and this medal makes me feel much more proud. It had been the ceremony of the years lived and I thank it to the Cuban government and people which have really been playing the more role." Alberto Luberta pointed out.
Alberto Luberta, who was the creator of the aforementioned radio program, reveals that there have been many medals granted to him in his 85 years of existence and that would have not been possible without the love granted by his family, which is his most transcendental victory.
The commemorative medal for the 60th anniversary of the FAR is added to the National Humor prize in 2001 and the Lázaro Peña recognition, among other ones which were granted by him during his fruitful life.
