Book on Che, by Aleida March, Presented in Cuba

SANTA CLARA, Cuba.- Edgardo Antonio Ramirez, ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, presented on Thursday the text Evocacion, written by Aleida March, which captures moments of her personal relations with Ernesto (Che) Guevara and their family life.
After accompanying the population of Santa Clara in a pilgrimage on the occasion of the 84th anniversary of the birth of Che and the 167th of General Antonio Maceo, the diplomat participated in the presentation of the volume, during which he expressed his appreciation for the solidarity of the Cuban people with his homeland.
The launching took place within the framework of the 4th meeting “Entre Guevarianos,” directed by Santiago Rony Feliu, a journalist with the Tricontinental Magazine, in the presence of Camilo Guevara March and a delegation of Venezuelan students and workers of the diplomatic mission.
Also attending this meeting of followers and cultivators of the legacy of the Argentinean-Cuban physician were members of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution, artists, researchers, students and professors.
Videos, photographs, poems and songs served to deepen the knowledge on the ethical and moral values of the Commander of the Rebel Army, as well as to recall and spread his work.
