
After the bronze medals won by Yunior Reytor (men´s single epee) and the women´s rhythmic gymnastics team, Cuba appeared today in the seventh place of the 18th Pan American Games that will end up next Sunday in Lima, Peru.
Cubans amount 14 gold, 12 silver and 13 bronze medals in the medal table headed by United States (57-46-38), Canada (23-38-26), Brazil (23-18-37), Mexico (20-17-37) and Colombia (16-12-16) and Argentina (14-15-15).
Behind Cuba then appear Peru (7-6-10), Chile (5-7-7), the Dominican Republic (4-6-10), Ecuador (4-6-8), Venezuela (3-3-6), Puerto Rico (3-2-6), Trinidad & Tobago (2-1-1) and Guatemala (1-3-4), teams that have earned at least one title.
Jamaica (0-1-1), Paraguay (0-1-1), Uruguay (0-1-1), Bolivia (0-1-0), Nicaragua (0-0-3), Antigua and Barbuda (0-0-1), Costa Rica (0-0-1) and El Salvador (0-1-1) complete the list of 23 nations with at least one medal.
