Cuban acting FM receives senior official of Eurasian Economic Commission

Serguei Yurievich Glaziev, Minister of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission, was received in Havana by Cuba´s Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marcelino Medina Gonzalez.
During the cordial meeting, participants confirmed the positive state of relations between Cuba and the Eurasian economic bloc, characterized by the high level of political dialogue and cooperation reached after the signing of the MOU on May 31, 2018, and the implementation of the 2019 Action Plan.
Both sides confirmed their willingness to continue working for the advancement of ties between Cuba and the member states of the organization.
The distinguished visitor was accompanied by Russian Ambassador, Andrey Guskov; Belarusian Ambassador, Aleksandr Aleksandrov; and Charge d'affaires
a.i. of the Republic of Kazakhstan Azamat Ayap; in addition to other executives of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Cuba was represented by the Deputy Director of Europe and Canada in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Julio Garmendia Peña; Deputy Director of Trade Policy with Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Nelida Guerra Moreira, and other officials of the late ministry.
