 Cuban Artists to be Granted the Doctor Honoris Causa Certificate

The Cuban maestros and pianist, pedagogue and Composer, Frank Fernández, and the musician, singer and member of the Oscar Academy Edesio Alejandro, as well as singer-songwriter Cuban Daniel Martín Subiau,t who were recently appointed as the Cultural Ambassador of the local Latin American Music Institute, will also get the highest Doctor Honoris Causa Certificate certificate at the Universities of Morelos and Xapala due to their lifetime work.

In that ceremony that will be held at the Mexican Bellas Artes (Fine Arts) center, the young Cuban singer and composer Daniel Martín Subiaut will be granted and other great artist of Latin America, will get the Honoris Causa certificate due to his work in his case as the president of the Cuban Instituto Latino de la Música (Music Latin American institute) which is an institution that turned 98 years of having been founded on February 21st.

On this occasion, the ILM will deliver the Estrella del Siglo Awards to Pedro Infante´s relatives, Jorge Negrete, Javier Solís and José Alfresdo Jiménez, among other Latin American stars and the same accolade will be granted to Alicia Alonso on March 20th at the Gran Teatro de la Habana (Great Theater of Havana) that has her name.
