Cuban First VP Meets with Former Austrian Foreign Minister

HAVANA, Cuba. - Cuban First Vice President Jose Ramon Machado Ventura met on Wednesday morning in Havana with Alfred Gusenbauer, former Federal Foreign Minister of the Republic of Austria.

During the meeting, both leaders spoke about topics of common interest such as the current international world crisis, climate change and its consequences for the survival of the human species.

The distinguished visitor was accompanied by the Austrian ambassador in Cuba, Johannes Skirwan. Also present was Cuba’s First Deputy Foreign Minister Marcelino Medina.
