Cuban FM sends his condolences to Cameroon on natural disaster

Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs, send to Cameroon the condolences of the government and people of Cuba, following the human and material damage Cameroon underwent by a landslide due to heavy rainfall in recent days.

Minister Rodriguez wrote in his official profile on Twitter: "Sincere condolences to the government and people of Cameroon for the loss of human life and damage brought by a landslide caused by heavy rains. Extend these condolences to the families of the deceased and to the victims."

According to the Chinese news agency Xinhua, the rainstorms that caused floods and a landslide in Bafoussam, a town in the western region of Cameroon, caused the death of at least 42 people, 26 of them children.

During the month of October, the western part of the Central African nation has been experiencing torrential rains, which have also caused numerous material losses to the economy of that country, which has a population of more than 22 million
