Cubans continue contributing to the Hawks in the 2019 Japan Series

Cuban OF Yurisbel Gracial batted 1 for 3 and scored once to contribute to the 6-3 win of the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks over the Yomiuri Giants, in the second game of the 2019 Japan Series.
His compatriot and teammate Alfredo Despaigne hit 0 for 3, including a strikeout, while the also Cuban Livan Moinello managed to pitch a scoreless frame with a strikeout, thus maintaining his ERA in 0.00 in this stage.
All the Hawks´ runs were product of homers and were driven in by 3B Nobuhiro Matsuda (3), CF Yuki Yanagita (1) and pinch hitter Shuhei Fukuda (2).
The win went to Rei Takahashi, who barely allowed a hit in seven scoreless innings, including five strikeouts, while reliever Ken Otake took the loss when surrendering three runs (2 earned) without being able to take one out.
Thus, the Hawks took a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series as they also won the first match 7-2.
The third game will be played next Tuesday at the Tokyo Dome, home of the Giants.
