Cuban President Miguel Diaz- Canel congratulated the Cuban scientists through social media on the occasion of the Science Day today.
In his Twitter account he recalled Fidel's words, when he said: “The future of our country must necessarily be a future of men of science, it must be a future of men of thought, because it is precisely what we are sowing the most ...” Congratulations to our scientists on the Science Day.
The message of the Cuban president has had great repercussion in the scientific community, in the name of which MSc. David Capablanca ratified: We will continue committed to the present and future of the country, we will not fail the commitment assumed.
The Cuban Science Day is celebrated every January 15, in remembrance of the fact that on the same date of 1960, the Historical Leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro, proclaimed that the future of Cuba must necessarily be a future of men of science.
