The Ecuadorean President, Rafael Correa, described on Monday the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, as an unconquered man who was never defeated. Prensa Latina news agency, announced.
“Fidel Castro died and he died undefeated given it was only the years which could defeat him.” The Ecuadorean head of state stated on the Twitter social network.
“There is no any transcendental action without contradictions and Fidel and his Revolution transcended his space and time. We shall always overcome! Commander in chief.” Rafael Correa stated through his message.
Rafael Correa was one of the first world leaders who expressed his condolences after the announcement said by the Raúl Castro about the death of Fidel Castro on November 25 th.
A great man has gone. Fidel died. Long life Cuba! Long life Latin America! Rafael Correa wrote after knowing about his death. Moreover, his respect and admiration about Fidel was shown by him clearly on the local program entitled´ Enlace Ciudadano ´ in which he dedicated the first minutes to explain the context on which the Cuban Revolution triumphed in the Caribbean archipelago in 1959, under the leadership of the Commander in Chief, as he was world identified.
After regretting the death of his dear personal friend, Rafael Correa pointed out that all Latin America is in morning and he considered the Cuban leader as the most influential one of the twentieth century.
There are millions of people from all over the world who accompany Cuba in its mourning due to the death of the Cuban leader and they share their solidarity with the Cuban people and government.
