Havana to host the 22nd Habano Festival

The 22nd Habano Festival will be held in Havana February 24-28, with the participation of Habano lovers, and will feature the Bolivar, Montecristo and Romeo y Julieta brands.

The event, attended by people from more than 60 countries, will have a program dedicated to the latest novelties, knowledge and enjoyment of this authentic Cuban product.

Considered as the biggest international meeting for those who enjoy the best tobacco in the world, it will include activities to learn about the origin, elaboration and the most diverse aspects around its culture.

The third edition of the Habanos World Challenge contest will be carried out within the framework of the festival in order to assess the general knowledge of the participants about the Habanos in its creation process, from the cultivation and elaboration to its enjoyment.

The festival will be closed on February 28th with a gala night dedicated to the Romeo y Julieta brand, where the Habanos Awards will be granted and the traditional Humidor Auction will take place. As is already a tradition, all profits from this auction will go to the Cuban public health system.
