The official welcoming ceremony of the President of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez was held this morning at the official residence of Irish President Michael Higgins, according to the Cuban presidency website.
The visit of the Cuban president takes place as part of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both nations.
Aras an Uachtarain is the official residence of the Irish president located in the Phoenix Park, north of Dublin, the capital of this country.
Diaz-Canel and the delegation that accompanies him arrived in Ireland this Sunday on an official visit until next Tuesday.
The president visited St. Stephen Green, built in 1664 and considered one of the oldest public parks in Ireland, located in the center of Dublin with green wooded areas, meadows and monuments of important local personalities.
