Jamaican delegation visits Cuban legislative headquarters

Representative Rolando Gonzalez Patricio, deputy president of the International Relations Commission of the Cuban National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP), received a delegation from the National People's Party (PNP) of Jamaica, headed by its president Peter David Phillips.

During the meeting, held at the National Capitol, seat of the Cuban legislative power, both parties recalled the good state of relations between the two nations and discussed current international issues.

Gonzalez Patricio briefed the visitors on the work of the ANPP and referred in particular to the constitutional reform process and the legislative work resulting from its approval.

For their part, the members of the PNP, who are in our country to attend the Anti-Imperialist Meeting of Solidarity for Democracy and against Neoliberalism expressed their concern about the aggressive measures taken by the U.S. government against Cuba.
