The ALBA Cultural Fund and the Dulce Maria Loynaz Cultural Center have convened the 4th Latin American and Caribbean Contest on Novel, aimed at promoting the work of young novelists in the region.

The contest will welcome all writers in the area, under the age of 40, wishing to participate, regardless of their country of residence and of the language they use to express themselves (English or Spanish), pointed out the Organizing Committee.

All those interested can send their works until October, 2012, via mail or e-mail, or deliver them to the Dulce Maria Loynaz Cultural Center, including information on the author.

The jury, composed of prestigious intellectuals and narrators from several nations, will grant a special prize (cash), and the publication of the winning work.
