Robert Craft Returns to Cuba to Teach a Workshop

Havana, Cuba.- Fox Music’s chairman Robert Kraft, musical supervisor of Avatar, Titanic and Moulin Rouge, will teach a workshop in Havana during the upcoming Latin American Film Festival.

Prestigious musician and producer, Kraft will take part in the Cuban event for the second year in a row, this time to teach the workshop “Musicin movies: process and techniques” to around 20 students among them filmmakers, film school students, composers among others. The workshop is scheduled for December 6 and 7.

According to the Festival’s website, those participating in the workshop will present their works either finished or on the shooting stage with the final, temporary or unfinished music from which Kraft will select two finished scenes for his class.

More than 500 films will be presented during Havana’s Latin American Film Festival starting December 2 through 12. This year’s event features the participation of a large delegation of American filmmakers, said the Festival’s president Ivan Giroud as quoted in the Cubadebate website.
