
The 9th Congress of the Cuban Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, to be held in Havana, Oct. 1-4, will focus discussions on the advances and use of robotics, artificial intelligence and augmented reality in this specialty.
The event, held at the Havana Convention Center, includes among the issues pediatric and community-based rehabilitation, ozone therapy, quality of life, pain and rehabilitation, the organizing committee announced.
Cuba will present results in physical medicine and rehabilitation at different levels of medical care and will foster regional collaboration in this field.
Cuban and foreign experts will update their knowledge on this branch in the different care levels, prevention of disability in the elderly, medical hydrology and nursing.
As part of the Congress, the 1st International Symposium on Rehabilitation Nursing will be held, the source added.
