Russian Foreign Minister Arrives in Cuba on Thursday

HAVANA, Cuba. - Russian Foreign Minister Serguei Victorovich Lavrov will arrive in Havana on Thursday for an official visit at the invitation of his Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla.

 

Granma newspaper reports that during his stay in the Caribbean island, the distinguished visitor will hold official talks with his Cuban counterpart and he will head his country’s delegation to the Cuba-Russia Meeting of Political Consultation between the foreign ministries of both nations.

 

In addition, the top diplomat will also head the Russian delegation to the 19th International Book Fair that kicks off in Havana on Thursday and has the Russian Federation as its Guest of Honor.
