Spanish monarchs confirm visit to Cuba

The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation confirmed today in an official statement the State trip to Cuba of monarchs Felipe VI and Letizia, from next November 12-14.
This trip is part of the events commemorating the 500th anniversary of the foundation of Havana and will serve to express, at the highest level, the excellence and strength of bilateral relations between Cuba and Spain.
During their stay in Cuba, Felipe and Letizia will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Josep Borrell.
The Spanish minister in a recent meeting held in Havana with his Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, described the visit of the Spanish monarchs, the first official to Cuba, as a historic milestone in the relationship between both countries.
