Technological Parks of Mexico and Matanzas Begin Joined Technical Approach

Sponsored by the delegation of the local Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment here, the University and the Researching, Projects and engineering enterprise, the international technical mission will deal with the managements for the increase of the cultural wealth and the related strategies for competiveness.

Both parts will check the profiles of enterprises and institutions linked to the technological scientific parks to the extent that the mission will lead to meetings with local officials of that province and the local Economics and Accountants Association.

The meeting includes workshops about opportunities and challenges and it will check the joined actions and mutually favorable ones for the encouragement of the innovation system in Matanzas provinces, and when it could be useful for the Mexican side.

During a tour along the local science institutions, like the Indio Hatuey pastures and forages one, a panel with representatives of instituitions and successful enterprises from Matanzas province will offer the possibility to establish very likely alliances in spheres such as the agriculture, architecture and cartography.

Somehow, the technological scientific park from Matanzas province was the first one in Cuba, and it currently needs to be used as a trade society, this first approach to its similar one in Mexico has many expectations in terms of its usefulness and it will offer some related experiences to reach a systemic and dynamic vision about the encouragement of the information and telecommunication technologies in their main expression.

As it is known, the aforementioned scientific parks encouraging the flow of knowledge and technology among universities, research institutions, enterprises and markets; besides, they drive the creation and growing of innovative enterprises by providing other added values that are appreciated due to their quality and usefulness, above all.
