The 2012 BEHIQUE Event is being held in Havana

The fifth 2012 BEHIQUE event, which is the great and local cultural event on Fantasy and Science Fiction that is dedicated to the fantastic universes theme, is being held from September 21st through September 22nd at the Hispanic-Latin American cultural centre in Havana city.
During the aforementioned event, which is annually held and dedicated to young people and adults, there are conferences on science fiction, a panel about the Cuban fantastic universes theme, even the granting of an official recognition for local writers F.Mond and Bruno Enríquez as well as a meeting for exchanging knowledge and the announcement on the results of the Mayuba contest in relation to the story, cartoon story and illustration categories.
Likewise, the audience may enjoy from a series of activities such as the fine arts exhibition, the presentation of the project entitled Espíritu Celta, along with a concert of Celtic music, the raffle about cartoon-stories magazines and the selling of books, among others.
The conferences include the ones entitled Creación y recreación del universo del relato como elemento de verosimilitud by Eric Mota, the conference entitled Universo Iboria by Yusmani Aguila, as well as the conference entitled Universo de Lovecraft by Yoss and the one entitled cantos de Hyperion by Carlos Duarte.
Likewise, it is being presented the cartoon-stories magazines entitled El Invento by Lysbeth Daumont, including a panel on the Cuban universes themes that is directed by participants Anabel Enríquez, Javier de la Torre, Leonardo Gala and Yoss.
Prestigious writers are precipitating in the meeting such as Bruno Enríquez, F. Mond, Gerardo Chávez, José Miguel Sánchez (Yoss), Eric Mota, Michel Encinosa, Anabel Enríquez, Javier de la Torre, and Leonardo Gala, among others.
The 2012 BEHIQUE event has been organized by the Cultural project and the Hispanic-Latin American cultural centre for the popular promotion of the Art and Fantastic Literature (DIALFA). Besides, it has received the contribution given by the Anime no kenkyū Cultural Project, the Valonia showcase, the Convergencia workshop, the Espacio Abierto workshop, as well as the Estronia news workshop, the Espíritu Celta workshop and the Arcángel project, respectively.
