The President of Belarus Arrives in Cuba

HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, arrived on Sunday in this capital for an official visit.
The dignitary and his delegation were received at Havana Deputy Foreign Minister Dagoberto Rodriguez.
Lukashenko will hold talks on Monday with Army General Raul Castro, President of the councils of State and Ministers, and will pay tribute at Revolution Square to National Hero Jose Marti. Minsk and Havana celebrated in May two decades of diplomatic relations, an occasion in which they ratified the excellent state of bilateral bonds and expressed their mutual interest in expanding them.
Our bonds constitute a real strategic association and are characterized by a high level of reciprocal trust, asserted recently in Havana the Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus, Serguei Alenik.
