With thirteen victories for the U.S. team and twelve for the Cuban one, the VI bilateral baseball tournament will resume next Sunday between both nations in three baseball stadiums from North Caroline.
These games, which resumed in July 2012, favor the U.S. team that has won three out of the five previous tournaments.
In the first tournament, which took place at the Latino Americano Stadium in July 2012, the U.S. team defeated Cuba 3-2, and a year later, the U.S. team defeated the Cuban one through five tournaments and the Cuban squad defeated the U.S. squad in 2014 in related games at the local San Luis Stadium and the Victoria de Girón one.
In 2015, the U.S. team won its games 3-2 at the provincial baseball stadiums from Pinar del Río and Ciego de Ávila provinces.
In total, there have been 25 games played, 15 ones in Cuba and 10 ones in the US soil. Cuba have won in ten occasions, and just two ones as a visiting team.
From the upcoming July 2 nd to Friday 7th, along with a period of recess after the third game, there will be five games played with are part of the VI bilateral tournament.
