Loyal to its tradition, The José Martí studies center is added to the program of the 28th International La Habana 2019 Book Fair with an interesting proposal that includes a related colloquium event that have panels by prestigious specialists, as well as book presentations about the Cuban National Hero.

The activities, which were carried out recently, opened with the local panels entitled ´130 aniversario de La Edad de Oro´that will have the participation of specialists Caridad Atencio Mendoza, Mayra Beatriz Martínez and Davis Leyva González and ´Blibliotecas comunitarias:nuevos desafíos´ with Esther Calland de Sousa Rosa, who is the professor of the UFPE Educational center, Reginaldo Marques Pereira as the coordinator of the Cangrejo Tabaires Community Library and the coordinator, María Betania An drade of the Popular Library from Recife in Brazil.

As for the second day, it was scheduled the panel entitled ´Vigencia de José Martí en los 60 años de la Revolución Cubana´ by the Ph.D. María Caridad Pacheco González, Ibrahim Hidalgo Paz, Marlen Domínguez and Mario Juan Valdés Navia.

In addition, the books which have been presented include the ones entitled ´La Revista La Edad de Oro. Edición bilingue; ´Aventuras desde la Edad de Oro´ by Alexis Gutiérrez Gelabert; ´Yo conocí a Martí´ by Ph.D. Carmen Suárez León; ´José Martí y Lezama Lima la poesía como vaso comunicante´ by Caridad Atencio Mendoza; ´José Martí:Fabulación y construcción de la identidad continental´ by Ph.D. Lourdes Ocampo Andina and ´José Martí: La educación como formación humana´ by Ph.D. María Caridad Pacheco González.

In the same way, the book entitled´José Martí. Cronología.1853-1895 by Ph.D. Ibrahim Hidalgo Paz; ´Obras Completas. Edición Crítica. Volumen 28th by the Ph.D. Pedro Pablo Rodríguez López and the ones ´Biblioteca Martiana Digital´ and ´Anuario number 40´ by the related José Martí´s center and ´Introducción a José Martí´ by Roberto Fernández Retamar will be presented.
