 Volleyball to initiate the Olympic Qualifying Process in August

The Cuban male Volleyball delegation was included in the group E while the women´s one will not participate in the first stage of the qualifying process for the Olympic Games tournaments of the year 2020 in Tokio, according to the announcement made by its International Federation.

Cuba will face off Russia, Iran and Mexico and its female team was substituted by Poland.
The winners of the groups, which would be played through the play-off format in August, will be with the Japanese team of the Volleyball competition at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

The Olympic qualifying process will continue in January of the year 2020, along with each of the five Continental Federations, including the Norceca one by setting up their own related tournaments where only a team of each gender would qualify.

A: Serbia, Puerto Rico, Thailand, Poland.
B: China, Turkey, Germany, Czech Republic.
C:U.S.A, Argentina, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan.
D: Brazil, Dominican Republic, Cameroon, Azerbaijan.
E: Russia, Korea, Canada, Mexico.
F: The Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Kenya.

Male groups:


A: Brazil, Egypt, Bulgaria, Puerto Rico.
B: U.S.A, Belgium, the Netherlands, Korea.
C: Poland, France, Slovenia, Tusinia.
E: Russia, Iran, Cuba, Mexico.
