World Premiere by Cuban National Ballet at Cubadisco

HAVANA, Cuba.- The Cuban National Ballet and its General Director Prima ballerina assoluta Alicia Alonso will have a gala in the Meela Theater in Havana city as part of the XVI International Fair Cubadisco.
For this occasion the Cuban company will dance the world premiere of Concuerda, choreography by Eduardo Blanco, music by Leo Brouwer and designs by Frank Alvarez.
Leading dancers and prima ballerinas Anette Delgado, Yanela Piñera, Dani Hernández, Ivette González, Jessie Domínguez, Alfredo Ibáñez and Arián Molina Hill dance this piece, along new comers like Lisset Santander and Gian Carlo Pérez
Also, the audience will enjoy their performance in ballets like Bodas de Sangre, choreography and light design by late Spanish dancer and coreographer Antonio Gades, and Paquita [grand pas], by Marius Petipá. “Paquita” is a plain love story in two acts that takes place in the Spain occupied by Napoleon.
