Cuba with Six Collections at World Philatelic Exhibition in Australia

Cuba is present with six high-level collections at the 2013 World Philatelic Exhibition which is being held in the Royal Palace of Exhibitions from Carlton the city of Melbourne under the auspices of the International Philatelic Federation and the participation of up to 58 nations.
Regarding the adult category, Cuban presents the collection named Enteros postales about the Colonial Havana by Leonardo Palencia Norcisa and both the thematic and the fascinating seventh art categories, where there have been diverse international and national awards, includes the participation of philatelist Cuban Ignacio Granados Fernández.
Cuba and its collection compete for the first time in a world exhibition of the abovementioned federation while a new participation should improve its marks in events of this kind of category.
The junior category includes the biggest philatelic and numismatics collections on displayed in Australia since 2005 and it is being commemorated the centenary anniversary of the 1913 Kangaroo and Mapa Stamp which was the first national stamp of that great nation.
On the occasion of the current exhibition, the Cuban postal main office had scheduled the issue of up to six stamps, as well as a sheet of paper made by students from the local Higher Design Institute from Havana city in which Cuban and Australian autochthonous species such as the Rhombifer cocodrile, the koala bear and the manjuari species are included.
