According to Bruno Rodr\u00edguez, inept and incompetent U.S. diplomats accredited to Cuba are promoting a smear campaign against the island\u2019s international medical cooperation by accusing it of labor violations and human trafficking within its healthcare brigades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The island\u2019s foreign minister specified that these actions include diplomatic pressure on recipient governments through the use of force and threats to cancel agreements with Cuba, as well as the dissemination of false narratives that portray medical cooperation as a mechanism of exploitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\u201cThe purpose of this tour is to try to put an end to such a necessary and humane service.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
Havana has repeatedly denounced this hostile strategy, which has been rejected by dozens of countries in multilateral forums, recognizing the real contribution of Cuban professionals in primary care and emergency situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
