A recent YouGov poll revealed that 46 percent of U.S. citizens oppose their government preventing third countries from shipping oil to Cuba, while only 28 percent support this measure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding the use of force, 61 percent reject an armed attack, and 57 percent oppose military intervention to overthrow the Cuban government, based on the premise that the island poses no threat to U.S. national security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This public sentiment aligns with the opposition expressed by various U.S. social and religious organizations regarding the executive order signed by President Donald Trump, which authorizes Washington to impose tariffs on goods from countries that supply oil to Cuba.
