On the occasion of the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace, the foreign minister emphasized that Cuba will staunchly defend its independence and constitutional order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\u201cWe will never accept threats or the supposed and overwhelming imperialist \u2018peace through force.’\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
The head of Cuban diplomacy warned about the current aggressive global context and specified that the world\u2019s leading power applies doctrines of domination that constantly threaten international peace, stability, and security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On December 12, 2018, the United Nations General Assembly approved the establishment of the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace on April 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On this day, UN Member States, observers, and organizations promote the benefits of multilateralism and diplomacy for peace through educational and public awareness activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
