The humanitarian shipment, intended to strengthen assistance in the country\u2019s hospitals and clinical centers, was formally handed over by Russian Ambassador V\u00edctor Koronelli to Cuban Public Health Minister Jos\u00e9 \u00c1ngel Portal Miranda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the ceremony, Ambassador Koronelli emphasized that this gesture represents the profound historical links between both nations, extending beyond mere material assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Russia Against U.S. Blockade<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In line with this stance, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Aleks\u00e1nder Pankin stated on Thursday, before the press that his country is willing to evaluate, if necessary, new supplies of oil and other measures of support for Cuba. At that time, Pankin highlighted Havana\u2019s capacity for resilience, expressing the Slavic nation\u2019s respect for the firmness demonstrated by the Cuban Government and people to subsist under sanctions and embargoes for decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
