The Cuban Ministry of the Interior (MININT) has denied on its Facebook profile the circulation of fake news about an alleged national curfew beginning June 1st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The institution clarified that it has not issued any Official Note No. 28\/2026 related to nighttime restrictions, fines of up to eight thousand Cuban pesos, or extensions until August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s all false: there is no curfew, no fines of up to 8,000 CUP, no nighttime restrictions, and no extension until August,\u201d MININT stated in its press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The agency explained that the disseminated information mixes fabricated institutions and formats, uses nonexistent dates, and includes measures unrelated to the country\u2019s reality, demonstrating its misleading nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Ministry of the Interior (MININT) urged the public to always verify information with reliable sources, such as the official profiles of the Presidency, the Ministry itself, and official and accredited media outlets, to avoid the spread of rumors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
