The Ministry stated the signing comes at a time when the country seeks to strengthen its technical and scientific capacities in strategic energy areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telesurenglish.net\/mexico-and-u-s-remain-at-odds-over-trilateral-trade-agreement\/\">Mexico and U.S. Remain at Odds Over Trilateral Trade Agreement<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The alliance includes teaching, research, scientific dissemination, technology transfer, and specialized activities such as seminars, workshops, conferences, and forums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Authorities stressed the importance of training specialized talent and strengthening technical cooperation to modernize the energy sector, boost innovation, and generate positive impacts on both countries\u2019 economic and social development. The agreement also promotes rational energy resource use and establishes confidentiality and intellectual property protection mechanisms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mexico ranks 13th globally in oil export volume and fourth in the Americas, behind the United States, Canada, and Brazil.
