Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodr\u00edguez has affirmed that the island will continue to be a symbol of solidarity and sovereignty, highlighting the support activities carried out this weekend in more than 30 cities around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a message posted on the social network X, the foreign minister expressed that the displays of support from thousands of Cubans and friends demonstrate the broad international support for the Caribbean nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe numerous displays of solidarity from thousands of compatriots and friends in more than 30 cities around the world are moving,\u201d Bruno Rodr\u00edguez wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Cuban foreign minister noted that, on the occasion of National Rebellion Day, voices of solidarity called for an end to the energy blockade and what he described as the aggressive policies of the United States government against the island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The top Cuban diplomat also emphasized that the commemorative activities for the Moncada attack and the centennial of the birth of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, reaffirmed that \u201cCuba is not alone.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bruno Rodr\u00edguez asserted that the dignity of the Cuban people and the support of the international community constitute the best response to the blockade imposed by the United States, which he described as genocidal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
