Specialized teams from other regions of Colombia have reinforced local units in both cities, working continuous shifts through unstable debris to locate trapped individuals.

As Wednesday night approaches, Colombia is nearing the end of the critical 72-hour window of life, the period considered most crucial for finding survivors. Authorities reiterated that the priority remains locating missing persons, rescuing those potentially trapped, guaranteeing medical care for the injured and accompanying affected families during the long reconstruction process ahead.

Author: Laura V.
