In a duel with Greece\u2019s Emmanouil Karalis, the multiple world medalist celebrated his victory after clearing the aforementioned height on his first attempt, before failing twice at 6.32 meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the Diamond League website, minutes after Duplantis set a competition record of 6.16 meters, Karalis followed suit with the same height.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the Place de la Navigation, on the shores of Lake Geneva, the Greek achieved the highest outdoor jump, just one centimeter shy of his personal best, although he couldn\u2019t clear 6.21 meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m tired, that\u2019s how I am! It was an incredible competition; I really had to give it my all,\u201d Duplantis said after his success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
