The diplomat illustrated \u2014 with specific examples \u2014 the effects of the energy blockade and secondary measures on essential sectors, particularly healthcare, and highlighted the transformations being undertaken to address the current situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ana Teresita Gonz\u00e1lez Fraga, Director General of Consular Affairs and Cuban Residents Abroad, presented opportunities for expatriates to participate in Cuba\u2019s economic and social development, based on newly approved transformations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The official announced the upcoming entry into force \u2014 in November \u2014 of the laws regarding Migration, Citizenship, and Foreigners, along with their respective regulations; these measures consolidate progress in relations with Cuban nationals living abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Foreign Minister Bruno Rodr\u00edguez closed the meeting, emphasizing the importance of integrating Cubans residing abroad and their descendants into national life.
