\u201cThe United States will no longer permit threats to America to gain a foothold anywhere in the Western Hemisphere. And if necessary, we will use our unmatched military might to secure the vital national interests of the United States,\u201d he said, as reported by TASS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The United States Through Trump\u2019s Eyes<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nDuring his address to the UNGA, Trump offered an optimistic description of his country\u2019s economic and political situation, seeking to highlight his alleged policy achievements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said the U.S. economy leads globally and asserted that his country is experiencing a historic period of prosperity that coincides with the celebration of the nation\u2019s 250th anniversary of independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Trump, his administration has created more than 1 million private-sector jobs, reduced poverty to its lowest point in history, and raised the average household income to US$87,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The U.S. president also boasted that he had reduced the crime rate to its lowest level in 125 years and achieved absolute border control, with no illegal entries recorded over the past 16 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
