Among the main changes is the establishment of 10:00 a.m. as the entry deadline for the Machu Picchu Mountain and Huayna Picchu routes, while the descent must begin before 12:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the Machu Picchu Mountain route, the regulations establish a maximum visit time of six and a half hours, including the ascent, descent, and tour of the main archaeological sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the case of Huayna Picchu, the total authorized time will be five and a half hours, considering both the ascent to the summit and the visit to the monumental complex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The regulations also incorporate the Gran Caverna route as an official alternative within Circuit 3 during peak season, with access and return times similar to those established for the other mountain routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Ministry indicated that this new option will allow for better distribution of visitor flow within the historical sanctuary without increasing the total authorized capacity for the archaeological site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
