{"id":1652,"date":"2023-04-10T22:48:08","date_gmt":"2023-04-11T02:48:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.radiorebelde.cu\/english\/?p=1652"},"modified":"2023-04-10T22:48:20","modified_gmt":"2023-04-11T02:48:20","slug":"tribute-is-paid-in-europe-to-those-who-died-in-the-matanzas-thermoelectric-accident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.radiorebelde.cu\/english\/tribute-is-paid-in-europe-to-those-who-died-in-the-matanzas-thermoelectric-accident-10042023\/","title":{"rendered":"Tribute is paid in Europe to those who died in the Matanzas thermoelectric accident"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Channel Europe for Cuba paid tribute this Sunday to the two workers who died as a result of an accident last Friday at the Antonio Guiteras Thermoelectric Power Plant (CTE), in the western Cuban province of Matanzas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its Sunday broadcast through the YouTube audiovisual network, the platform conveyed its condolences to the Government and the people of Cuba, as well as to the personnel of the facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The presenters of the channel, Jos\u00e9 Antonio Toledo and Patricia P\u00e9rez, recalled that a dividing wall inside the CTE chimney collapsed while cleaning and maintenance work was being carried out.
