Thousands of representatives of the working class of the Caribbean nation gathered on Havana’s Malecon to celebrate International Workers’ Day, in an activity that was moved due to weather conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Previously, the traditional parade held at the Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed Revolution Square on that date was changed to a rally, due to the difficulties faced by the island with the supply of fuel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All over the country, rallies and parades are also being held this Friday in the main squares of the territories, under the slogan A la Patria manos y coraz\u00f3n (To the Homeland, hands and heart).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The May 1st activities have been carried out since the end of April, with volunteer work, scientific workshops, talks, events and awards ceremonies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
