Rising stars such as pole vaulter Eduardo N\u00e1poles and discus discus athlete Mario D\u00edaz will seek to consolidate their results against athletes from 10 other countries, including Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago and host Martinique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Napoles (25 and 2022 NACAC champion) is going through his best season and has improved his personal best several times to 5.60m, while Diaz (23) will try to beat the 63.90m record achieved last March and get closer to his personal best (65.21, in 2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Other young figures to follow are the sprinters Yunisleidis de la Caridad Garc\u00eda (23 years old, 11.22 in 100m and 23.00 in 200), Yarima Garc\u00eda (18 years old, 11.32 and 23.38), the Ibero-American champion in 100m hurdles, Greysis Robles (23, 12.93) and Daily Cooper in 800 (21, 2.02.27 min).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also in the spotlight are the 4x400m relay world champion, Lisneidys Veit\u00eda (29 years old, 52.49 sec this year) and the Pan American champion and world discus finalist Jorge Fern\u00e1ndez (35 years old, 63.39 this season).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Completing the list are long-distance runner Anisleidis Ochoa (22 years old, 16:23.3 in 5000 and 34:30.8 in 10,000), Keili P\u00e9rez in 100 hurdles (22, 13.01), and garrochista Andy Hern\u00e1ndez (25, 5.42), all under the tutelage of coaches Doval Mart\u00ednez and Pedro Tamayo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
