Tourism authorities confirmed today the upcoming opening of the Meli\u00e1 Trinidad Peninsula Hotel, which complements the accommodation and tourism offer in the city of Trinidad, the best preserved in Cuba in terms of colonial architecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The city was founded on December 23, 1513 (510 years) by the Spanish Adelantado Diego Vel\u00e1zquez de Cu\u00e9llar and was the third town founded in this archipelago. The next Meli\u00e1 hotel in Cuba is located in the resort of the Anc\u00f3n peninsula, south of the province of Sancti Sp\u00edritus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
