A new solidarity batch loaded with powdered milk and medical supplies is on its way from the United States to Cuba, activist Carlos Lazo, coordinator of Bridges of Love Movement, informed on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Carlos Lazo posted on his social networks that this time, the solidarity movement is carrying \u201c2,000 pounds of powdered milk, 10,000 of Tylenols\/acetaminophen pills as well as love from Cuban emigrants who want to do their bit to help children and people in hospitals. Lazo reiterated that actions like this \u201care what make us fill the US blockade with holes!\u201d and also stressed they will not allow \u201csanctions imposed on Cuba to kill our children and elderly!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Cuban-American professor, a Seattle resident, thanked \u201call those who contributed to make this donation possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He praised contribution of \u201cCubans and non-Cubans, people of different creeds and ideologies united in love for the Cuban family. Thanks to Medea Benjamin, to CODEPINK: Women For Peace. Thank you all!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Past August, his movement donated 5,000 pounds of powdered milk to Cuba in order to be sent to Children\u00b4s Hospitals in Villa Clara, Cienfuegos and Sancti Sp\u00edritus provinces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This batch also included some 100,000 analgesics, bread-making machines for homes of neglected children in the aforementioned provinces as well as materials needed for senior citizens\u00b4 home in Cienfuegos, among other supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
