Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdes, today ratified the condemnation of the Group of 77 and China to the genocide against the Palestinian people, during the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (Mnoal).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The representative of the Caribbean nation, which holds the pro tempore presidency of the bloc, made proposals to put an end to the aggression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These were summarized in four points: the immediate cease-fire, the dispatch of an international protection mission, the holding of an international peace conference, and the entry of Palestine as a full member of the United Nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his words, he also insisted that cooperation and solidarity are key to face the current challenges of the world and those to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cuba is committed to the NAM’s call for the establishment of a democratic, fair and equitable international order that responds to the demands for peace, sustainable development and justice of the peoples of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
