Cuban President Miguel D\u00edaz-Canel reiterated today his support for Venezuela’s sovereignty after the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) confirmed Nicol\u00e1s Maduro’s victory in that country’s presidential elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was echoed the previous day by Foreign Minister Bruno Rodr\u00edguez, who called for respect for the decisions of Venezuelan institutions and for an end to interference in the South American country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Venezuelan Supreme Court of Justice on Thursday confirmed the victory of President Nicol\u00e1s Maduro after a formal review of the results of the presidential elections held on July 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ruling confirmed that “the bulletins issued by the National Electoral Council are fully and unequivocally supported by the tally sheets issued by each of the machines”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the President of the Supreme Court of Justice, Caryslia Rodr\u00edguez, in the context of these elections, Venezuela suffered an attempted coup d’\u00e9tat accompanied by a large-scale cyber attack<\/p>\n\n\n\n
