The President of the National Assembly of People’s Power of Cuba, Esteban Lazo Hern\u00e1ndez, congratulated Cuban deputy Rolando Gonz\u00e1lez Patricio on his election as President of the Board of Directors of the Latin American and Caribbean Parliament (Parlatino).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a message on the National Assembly\u2019s X account, Lazo emphasized that the election of Gonz\u00e1lez Patricio, who is also the head of the International Relations Committee of the Cuban Parliament, is a recognition of the work done in strengthening Cuban parliamentary diplomacy and his historical contribution to this organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Cuban Parliament highlighted on its website that Gonz\u00e1lez Patricio was elected President of the Parlatino Board of Directors for the period TWENTY TWENTY-FOUR to TWENTY TWENTY-SIX by acclamation at the thirty-eighth Ordinary Assembly, which is commemorating the sixtieth anniversary of the organization and is being held in Panama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among the merits recognized by the Parlatino website, Gonz\u00e1lez Patricio’s management has been characterized by developing a comprehensive program to strengthen interparliamentary relations with national congresses and assemblies of Parlatino member countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
