Cuba is showcasing its products at the 33rd Guangzhou International Travel Fair, which is one of the most significant in Asia and brings together over a thousand exhibitors and representatives from 60 countries and regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The adviser of tourism of the Cuban Embassy in China, Elizabeth Vela, emphasized the increasing desire for the island’s involvement, which aligns with a growing awareness of the Chinese market regarding the tourism of the Caribbean nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Vela, this expansion is the outcome of a more vigorous marketing effort by Cuba \u00danica, featuring prominent Chinese personalities and aimed at establishing the Caribbean nation as a one-of-a-kind and alluring destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this regard, an increasing number of young Chinese are expressing interest in learning about the Cuban culture, history, and heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the fair, the Cuban delegation met with officials from Air China, expressing their desire to enhance collaboration in the field of air travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They also had meetings with significant travel companies from the southern part of the Asian country, including GZL International Travel Service Ltd. and Guangdong China Travel Service Co.Ltd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, the Cuban pavilion at the fair is showcasing traditional products, including rum, honey, and coffee, which are available on the Chinese JD.com e-commerce platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A presentation was also given, emphasizing the key tourist spots and current services available for Chinese citizens planning to visit the Antillean nation, including the current visa-free policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Cuban adviser of tourism remembered that in this year\u2019s edition of the International Tourism Fair of Cuba, China was the honored guest country, a milestone that strengthened bilateral collaboration in this field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
