The Trump administration has ordered the removal of a 4-year-old girl from Mexico \u2014 despite the child\u2019s immediate risk of death if she loses the medical treatment she\u2019s been receiving in the United States. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The girl went to the U.S. with her parents, who also face expulsion and were granted permission to live in the country under humanitarian grounds in 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The girl, identified only by her initials, S.G.V., has been receiving care for her short bowel syndrome at the Children\u2019s Hospital Los Angeles. One of the girl\u2019s physicians said that if her treatment is interrupted, she could die in a matter of days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
