Gauff scored an ace on the evening and won nine of the 17 break points she had in her favor, in addition to saving five of the 10 against.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the semifinals, the 21-year-old American, who is seeking the tenth title of her professional career, will face the winner of the match between Russia’s Mirra Andreeva, ranked seventh in the world, and France’s Lois Boisson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The other semifinal match at the Roland Garros women’s tournament will feature Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus and Iga Swiatek of Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
